Requirements for Receiving a Student Laptop

1. Complete parent training (details below)

2. Return signed Code of Conduct

3. Pay the laptop fee.

Parent Training Requirements

Training is required for parents who have never had laptop training in the past. If you have completed laptop training during a previous school year and/or are a HCPS employee you can fill out the parent training exemption form by clicking here. Once we receive your information your parent training obligation will be fulfilled. If you need to complete parent training please explore the 2 options listed below.

Parent Training Option 1:
Online Training

Parents can complete training online. Click here to access the training page (select parents > online training from the drop-down menu). Please be sure you complete and submit  the assessment so that you receive credit. In the event of technical difficulties with the online assessment, you may complete a paper assessment, which can be found on the online training site. Turn in any paper assessment to Mr. Oliver (Byrd Tech AP).

Parent Training Option 2:
Live Training

Complete in-person training at any HCPS Middle School. Click here for a complete schedule of in-person training opportunities.
