7th & 8th GRADE WINTER DANCE: The 7th and 8th grade Winter Dance is coming on Friday from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and it is for Byrd students only. The attire for the girls is: skirt, dress or slacks—dress code applies. Boys should wear a tucked in collared shirt with pants—NO JEANS ALLOWED!! Tickets are $5.00 each and will be sold next Wednesday and Friday from 8:00-8:30 a.m. inn the library. Tickets WILL SELL OUT, SO BE SURE TO GET YOURS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!
BYRD’S 7TH & 8TH KMO TEAM: Would you like to be part of a winning tradition at Byrd Middle School? Here is your opportunity!! Any student interested in trying out for Byrd’s 7th and 8th grade KMO team please see Mrs. Clements, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Davidge, OR Mr. Whitehouse between February 6th and February 17th.
LIBRARY: Attention 7th and 8th grade students: Please make sure that Library obligations, late books returned and library bills paid, are met as soon as possible. Outstanding obligations will result in your not being able to purchase a ticket for Friday’s Winter Dance. Library Notices for all Senators will be attached to Report Cards. Please demonstrate personal responsibility by taking care of your Library obligations before the notices are sent home. Please come to the Library to discuss any questions that you might have. SCA: There will be an SCA Executive Board meeting on Friday, February 10th, at 7:30 a.m. in Mrs. Kendig’s room (A-11).
ECOLOGY CLUB: The Ecology Club will be meeting in the library with Books to Movie Club on Wednesday, February 15th. The meeting has been moved from C-13.
SL/DG CLUB: The Sophisticated Ladies & Distinguished Gentlemen will meet on Friday, February 10 from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. this Friday. Please see Ms. Johnson or Mr. Whitehouse to confirm your participation.
