School Calendar Adjustment
The HCPS School Board announced that
Friday, 5/25/12 is now full-day
holiday for all HCPS students and staff
Wanted
Donations of Gift Cards and Prizes to be used as
door prizes for our Dance for Jacob event

Bogeys Sports Park reciepts for our PTA fundraiser
between now and 5/25 when you visit Bogeys, they
will donate 3% to our PTA. Just turn in your receipts
by 5/25/12 to the Pocahontas front office.

Any rising 9th grade Godwin student who
is interested in being part of the yearbook staff

Games are scheduled M & W @ 4:45pm

Jump Rope Club
Every Wednesday 3:15 - 4:15pm
Students must have permission to stay after school
and must have a ride picking them up at 4:15

Talon Wrestling Club
For those serious about wrestling in tournaments in
the off-season. Meets every Tuesday 6 - 7:30pm through
the end of the school year. Meets at Godwin HS.
For wrestlers of all ages. See Mr. Crisp for details.

Rising 6th grade Pocahontas students - mark
your calendars 8/23/21 9am - noon.
Minorities in Engineering Program
The Richmond Area Program for Minorities in Engineering
and its sponsers will be presenting the
2012 Summer Engineering Institute again this year.
Applications available in the Main Office or Counseling Office

General Mills Box Tops & other collections
We continue to collect General Mills box tops, along with Campbell's
labels, Coke product caps (for Coke Reward's points), and even
aluminum can tabs for The Ronald McDonald House. Any of those
items you would like to contribute you can send in with your student.
Bus 70
Due to overcrowding, only students assigned to bus 70
may ride home on bus 70. No bus passes will be issued
to ride home with friends on bus 70
