Amnesty is a club that works along side the effort of the International Organization.  We strive to help peacefully in serious world dilemmas - human rights, famine, political injustices, etc.

Computer Club

Increase awareness in the latest developments in the area of technology including career options in a diverse economy.  Provide a positive forum in which students can be creative, innovative, and marketable in their prospective area of interests.  Provide a friendly place for students, faculty, staff, and visitors to learn and use computer technology.  Enhance student knowledge by providing a forum of questions and answers and internet resources through the effective use of a Website and newsletter.  Participate in computer oriented competitions such as programming contests.

FCCLA

 

What is Virginia FCCLA?
It is the ultimate leadership experience!  The Virginia FCCLA Association is a state affiliate of the national organization of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, Inc. FCCLA is a national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through family and consumer sciences education. Chapter projects focus on a variety of youth concerns, including school violence family relations, community service, substance abuse, peer pressure, leadership, nutrition and fitness, and career exploration.

Teaching is a promising career option. Particularly needed in the future will be teachers from diverse backgrounds who will be sensitive to the diversity in our classrooms. As the only international precollegiate extracurricular program for prospective teachers, FEA has the mission to provide students with opportunities to explore careers in education. Through participation in an FEA chapter students will gain a realistic understanding of the nature of education and the role of the teacher.
