Principal's Message
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Tuckahoe Elementary, where students are encouraged to explore learning opportunities both within the classroom and beyond our school walls. The vision of TES is to recognize and to promote the uniqueness of each individual child. Since each child has different strengths and needs, we promote a challenging atmosphere for learning through an integrated and differentiatied curriculum. Community and home support of this school-wide program enables each child the opportunity to reach his/her greatest potential. Tuckahoe Elementary is committed to excellence in educating and preparing students for their future contribution to society.
Tuckahoe students are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning by thinking critically, applying knowledge, exploring new ideas, and evaluating their work. Our vision is communicated to students and the community through the internalization of our school motto:
