Middle 8:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m.
High 8:45 a.m.-3:45 p.m.
(Early bird classes start 7:30 a.m. for high schools)

Elementary Schools - 11:15 a.m.
Middle Schools - 12:00 noon
High Schools - 12:45 p.m.

A long-time veteran of Henrico County Schools, Mrs. Winston has experienced the system first hand as a student, staff member, and now as a member of the school board. She is serving her first term as an elected official and brings 30 years of classroom teaching and school administrative experience to the board. For the past 8 years, Mrs. Winston worked as an adjunct associate professor in the Teacher Licensure Program at the University of Richmond. In this capacity, she taught and supervised student teachers in the greater Richmond area.

Mrs. Winston has been married for 35 years to Joe Winston who is a native Richmonder and actively involved in community organizations. They have two grown children, Joanna and Will, who attended Godwin High School. She is excited that her grandsons will be entering Henrico County Schools in the future.

Mrs. Winston enjoys spending time in classrooms and is proud to be able to represent the perspective of parents, students, teachers, and administrators to the board. Her goal is to work cooperatively with all board members to provide the best education for all the students of Henrico County.
