Henrico County Parent Survey
The school system values your input and feedback on
the education we provide the children of Henrico Co. Public
Schools. On Weds. 1/4 we sent home a stakeholder satisfaction
survey for you to fill out and return to our school office. Please take a
moment to answer each question and then return the survey to us
by Tuesday, Feb. 10th. We appreciate your time and look forward
to your feedback. Thanks for your continued support of Pocahontas MS
and all Henrico Co. Public Schools.
Student vs. Faculty Basketball Game & Spaghetti Dinner
Thursday, February 16th
Spaghetti Dinner starts at 5:00pm
Basketball Game tickets are $3
Spaghetti Dinner
Pocahontas MS will have a Spaghetti Dinner on February 16th starting at 5pm.
Tickets can be purchased in the office or on the school website.
Dinner tickets are $5 per person or up to $20 per family.
With the purchase of any dinner ticket you can purchase a student-faculty
basketball game ticket for $1 off. Order Here
R.E.B. Awards for Teaching Excellence
The Community Foundation is looking to recognize teachers
who have distinguished themselves through inspiring classroom
performance. Winners can receive professional development
awards of up to $12,000. If you would like to nominate an
outstanding teacher please click here to obtain a nomination form.
Nominations must be received by February, 23.

General Mills Box Tops & other collections
We continue to collect General Mills box tops, along with Campbell's
labels, Coke product caps (for Coke Reward's points), and even
aluminum can tabs for The Ronald McDonald House. Any of those
items you would like to contribute you can send in with your student.
