How to Apply


Thank you for your interest in joining a team of over 6,500 faculty and staff that strive to make HCPS the PREMIER school division in the United States. All applicants must submit an online application and provide **three written references. Print the Reference Forms and give these forms to individuals whom you have selected to provide references and ask them to complete and to return the forms to the address shown.

**References must be signed and current, not older than one (1) year. In lieu of the HPCS reference forms, signed letters may be submitted. All references become the property of HCPS and cannot be copied for applicants.


Specific requirements are listed below for each area of employment. Information that you provide online is secure and will be treated with confidentiality. If your application is received by the deadline, it will be placed in the applicant pool for that position.

Administrative Applicants

Certified Applicants

  • Good moral character form
  • DMV requirements are listed in the "How to apply" section of each vacancy

The online application form will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. Your application will not be accepted until these fields have been completed. Dates must be entered in the formats shown.


Upon beginning the application process, you will be asked to enter a user-id and password. You will need your user-id and password to return to your application form to make changes or to check the status of your application. Please make note of the user-id and password you enter.


If you are in the process of obtaining certification or licensure, please indicate this in your cover letter and/or resume, both of which may be attached to your online application.


Upon completion of each page, use the "submit" button to move to the next page. We recommend that you print a copy of your completed application after you have submitted the final page.
