Fatherhood Initiative

The mission of the Fatherhood Initiative is to enhance the well-being of students by increasing the number of children growing up with an involved, responsible, and committed male through the positive development and influence of a father/male figure and to become productive members and role models in our society through proactive and educational programs.
The objective of this mission is to inspire males in the Henrico County community to become better men and fathers to their children and to the children of the community. This will be accomplished through collaborative efforts of Henrico County Public Schools, the Parent Advisory Council and the community at large by providing activities that encourage male participation in the lives and education of children.
